Meet the Legal Team at Speaks Law Firm, P.A.
Beth Prather is an Associate Attorney who holds a J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law. She also graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in finance. After serving as a law clerk in the New Mexico Second Judicial District in Albuquerque, Beth joined Speaks Law Firm in 2004 and became a partner in 2007. She represents clients in various legal areas, including family law and criminal law.
After working as a special agent for the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigation, ISP Detachment 232, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ali Pierson graduated from Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia. She worked as a law clerk in her hometown of Hahira, Georgia, and later served as a deputy sheriff deputy within the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. In 2013, Ali Pierson joined Speaks Law Firm as an associate attorney, and in 2015, became a partner. She oversees all bankruptcy cases for the office and has substantial experience in domestic and family law matters.
Matthew Hale is a Charlotte native who graduated from Queen’s University of Charlotte with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies. He continued his education at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, where he earned a Juris Doctor. He spent years defending the rights and interests of clients in Atlanta before returning to Charlotte to serve as a prosecutor for the Ninth Judicial District. In December 2016, Matthew Hale joined Speaks Law Firm, P.A. as an associate attorney and was promoted to partner in December 2017. He currently represents clients in litigation, family law, personal injury and wrongful death matters.
